Upper Playground and Adidas, who have joined forces on a new shoe series titled, You Ain’t Got to Lie to Kick It, just released this sneak peek of Volume 3 from the collaboration. The third shoe in the series was designed by the $2 million man, David Choe, who recently sold-out his mega-show, Murderous Hearts, in London. We know you couldn’t afford a piece of that action, so we got Adidas to join in and create a limited-edition, born-from-Choe sneaker. There will be four volumes in the You Ain’t Got to Lie to Kick It series, with more details to come as to which artists and styles will complete the collaboration. The first shoe in the series was revealed to be a design by 12Grain’s Sam Flores, and Def Jux hip-hop artist Aesop Rock contributed the second design. There is no set release date on the series, but the shoes will be available at a limited release in all Upper Playground flagship store locations worldwide. UP and Adidas have worked together in the past, including the UP designed BBQ shoe for the 35th anniversary of the Adidas Superstar.
